The final book in my Death’s Legacy Duology is now available! Where family expectations extend beyond the grave… Doug Nelson has been working hard to get everything ready for his first Samhain—the most important holiday on the necromancer calendar. Doug has renovated his family home and banished an unsavory ancestor who possessed his brother. Unfortunately, Doug hasn’t been able to banish Declan’s in-laws who hold Declan responsible for his wife’s murder. Now they’re threatening to send their most feared family member, Mona Dunstan, to investigate. As an Element, Era Brant has never been one to take an active role in the magical community, but when Mona arrives, looking to frame Declan for murder, Era decides it’s time to change that. Though she broke off her budding relationship with Doug, Era can’t abandon him or his brother. Doug welcomes Era’s help, hoping that by working together, they can move past their differences. It would be a sound plan if not for one small detail: Doug is expected to display his necromantic power on Samhain and make a man a lich. Though the man is willing, Doug knows that if he goes through with it, he will lose Era forever. But a display of power might be just what he needs to silence the Dunstans and save his family. With the final book, Casting Souls, out in the world, the Iron Souls Series is now complete. (I hope you enjoyed the journey!) But I’m far from finished with that world. After all, the series ended with Briar and friends setting off on a new adventure, so I will be returning to write another series, some day. Meanwhile, I just released an Iron Souls prequel novella that tells the story of how Kali first met Perseus. The novella is available in the Caught In Crystal Anthology. This anthology features five other gaslamp fantasy novellas in addition to mine–which makes it a great opportunity to find a new author or five. (Links and blurb below) A gaslamp anthology from some of your favourite historical fantasy authors. Iron Tears, by Becca Andre Alone in the world, Kali must sort out her mysterious ancestry with the help of an enigmatic stranger who might prove to be her family’s greatest enemy. Pricked by Thorns, by Nicolette Andrews. Catherine’s mother is adamant she marry. But for Catherine finding a husband, might prove to be a deadly affair. The Demigod Dilemma, by Jamaila Brinkley When young ladies go missing from Mayfair, the Home Office knows just who to call. This is going to be Anastasia Galipp’s most dangerous Season yet. The Seer’s Eye, by A.W. Exley A family trip to the circus takes a dangerous turn when the familiar tingle of an artifact touches Cara Devon. What price is demanded, to change the future? Rain Through Her Fingers, by Rabia Gale Trapped in an unnaturally flooded Brighton, Elaine must find the courage to confront an old foe and protect a new friend. The Alchemist’s Tomb, by Sara C Roethle Arhyen and Liliana thought their troubles were over when they are given a mission to steal an artifact from a tomb. Will stealing from the dead prove fatal? In September, The Final Formula turned five years old. (Hard to believe it’s been that long!) I decided it was time to give the book a different look, and perhaps entice new readers who weren’t attracted to the first cover. Please note that this is the same book. Aside from a few typos, nothing in the interior was changed. I’m in the process of updating all the retail sites. If you haven’t tried The Final Formula, it free everywhere it’s sold. Corroded will release on August 31, 2018. Cover, blurb, and excerpt below. (And yes, that’s Andrew on the cover.) Captain Briar Rose is on a deadline. She has one week to deliver Grayson to Solon, the ferromancer behind so many of her problems. If she doesn’t arrive in time, Solon has promised to destroy her hometown. She’ll have to push hard to meet his arbitrary deadline, but it should be possible—if her cousin Andrew doesn’t get in the way. Andrew has been Briar’s nemesis since they were children, but now that he’s working for Solon, Andrew has become an even bigger problem. His insistence on meeting at every toll office is a hinderance, especially when her boat becomes a target for sabotage. Briar doesn’t have time for a pretentious cousin or a damaged boat, but her troubles don’t stop there. The clock is ticking for Grayson as well. His devolvement is accelerating at an alarming rate and nothing they try seems to slow it. As Grayson struggles to remain the man he is, Briar begins to believe that time is her true enemy. Perhaps Solon’s deadline wasn’t so arbitrary after all. Read an excerpt here: Corroded Available at: Amazon | Barnes & Noble | Kobo | Smashwords |...
