My Very First Post

The-Final-Formula 800 Cover reveal and PromotionalHello and welcome!  Well, today is the big day.  The Final Formula is formatted and ready to go.  Today I fumble around and try to get it up on the various retail sites.  I’ll be creating accounts, trying to figure out what goes where, and pestering writer friends when I get stuck.

I started the day by creating this website.  It’s just a simple thing I threw together.  A much cooler version will replace it in the near future, but until then, I hope this will suffice.

Thanks for stopping by!  Now I’d better get to work.

Loved the book! I bought it because Lindsay Buroker recommended it on FB, and I’m glad I did! I found her books when I got interested in steampunk and started checking out freebies and 99centers to discover new authors. I’ve found a lot of really interesting stuff, and now I will be following you for additional books. Like your daughter, I can’t wait to find out what happens to Addie. I sure hope there will be a follow-up. I really liked the characters and the twists and turns of the story. Congratulations on a terrific debut.

    • Hi Bridget! So glad you enjoyed the book. Lindsay is my critique buddy and she’s been hounding me for years to get the book out. 🙂 Thanks for the kind words! And yes, this is book one in a series.

  2. Hi Becca, I’ve already sent you a message via FB and you replied…thanks !! Just found this site and was interested to see the places that gave you inspiration for some of the places in your book…dd that make sense?!!
Loved your book, I also followed Lindsay Buroker’s recommendation and she was so right. Your book is great and I can’t wait for the next, plus any novellas.
You are a very talented writer, kind regards, Clare

    • Yes, that made sense. 🙂 Thanks for following along! Hopefully, it won’t too long before I have something else to share. Now I best get to work, huh?

  3. Hi Becca,
I just finished The Final Formula and enjoyed it quite a bit. There’s just enough good and bad in the story. I hate reading books full of doom and gloom. I’m looking forward to reading about Addie’s journey to redemption. The relationships within the story have me hooked!

    • Hi Amy! I’m thrilled that you enjoyed the story. Thanks for reading!

  4. Hello
A thoroughly enjoyable story. I read it in two days ( in between work , school runs and many other dull dull things)
Like you my 12 yr old son bears responsibility for my compulsion to read books of this genre, yours has been the most exciting so far.
So looking forward to further adventures with Addie.
    Congratulations on an excellent book

    • Hi Carol! Glad to hear that my son isn’t the only one who is a “bad” influence, lol. Thanks for giving my book a try, and thanks for sharing your thoughts! I’ve been working hard to get the next book(s) ready. Addie’s adventures are far from over. 😉
