Read an excerpt here: The Fifth Essence

Thanks for joining me on this adventure. The Fifth Essence wraps up the current conflict and I hope you’ll find the ending satisfying. I’ve been asked if this is the last we’ll see of Addie and the gang and the answer is no. I plan to return to the Final Formula world with a new series one day. I’m kicking around some ideas, and if I can pull it off, I might have a side story later this year.

In the meantime, I’ll be releasing a new series. I’ll share more details as it gets closer to completion, but this one is a steampunk fantasy set on an Ohio & Erie Canal boat. I hope you’ll give my new series a try. It initially releases in a multi-author bundle on August 8, 2017. This bundle of 22 brand new science fiction and fantasy books is available for pre-order for just $0.99! Once the set releases, the price goes up, so if you’re interested, reserve your copy today. I’ll include the cover, blurb, and retailer links below.

  1. The Fifth Essence was a brilliant final book in the Final formula series. I had to read the end before I could go back and read the story because I couldn’t bear the tension of not knowing who’d survive the zombies and Neil (next to Lex one of the creepiest insane baddies ever)! So the ending made me cry twice. It was perfect!!! Being a fantasist, I’m hoping/dreaming of a novella (it could be 5.5!) for Doug and Era. I love all your characters, but Ian has been a favorite since book two (though I think all along Rowan and Ian are both equal favourites partly because Addie sandwiches between them perfectly and all three make a perfect character formula, but by the end of book 5 though I had to add Doug and Era to my favorite list. I shall exercise my abundant hope. Whatever you choose to write, I look forward to more of your stories.

Thanks, Cari! It’s great to hear that you enjoyed the final book. As for the rest…I shared a snippet of my latest project over on my Facebook page. 😉

      • Having just read your Facebook share – I am SO excited!!! I shall endeavour to send out thought waves begging your characters to cooperate with you and tell the story as possible. I doubt they’ll listen, but it will make me feel productive while I wait. 🙂

        Happy Writing!!!

I hope they listen. They frequently ignore me. (Though at the moment, I’m having a lot of fun with this one.)

Ms. Andre, you have done yourself proud with this fifth book in the series. Each one of your books can stand alone, filled with humor, love, trials, and warmth. I have loved every one of the books in this series. I delight in the thought of a continuation of this wonderful world and the people who inhabit it! Thank you.

Thanks, Jan! Glad you enjoyed FF5–and the rest of the series. And yes, I could never completely leave the Final Formula world. 🙂
